This week we were introduced to CSS. Here are the screenshots that I took in class:
I'll walk you through what I did...
I added code here to give colour to the various headings.
Then I added a background colour to the headings.
Here I determined how wide the headings were allowed to be.
I set it to a percentage value so here I'm showing it in a browser with a different width.
Same thing. Different width.
I removed the stretching on the image at this stage and added some 'garbage text' for styling practice.
On the garbage text I changed the size and font.
See?
I increased the space between the lines here.
The line spacing is now back to normal.
I centered the whole page here...
...And made the oranges orange.
We were introduced to the Div at this stage.
We were also introduced to classes (which I used here to make the heading green).
I also applied some CSS styling to the linked page.
